Chelsea "Chelocean" Burcksen is a fourth-year game development student at Drexel University and an avid napper ("self certified sleepiest lady" -Chelsea)! Burcksen also happens to be a person of diverse interests, from painting, plants, music, gaming and taekwondo. She is always down for an adventure!
Burcksen was inspired to get into gaming through her own admiration of the games she plays: "I've been playing games for as long as I can remember, and always admired the work that went into creating the characters and worlds." said Burcksen "I started creating my own characters in middle school and watching artist panels for games like League of Legends. From there I decided to pursue game design in hopes of one day creating my own characters and worlds that other people can fall in love with. "
Burcksen's own vision for LitterBox focuses more on the user experience playing the games, as well as users being able to share it with those closest to them.
"Besides Jubilite, I hope we can create all kinds of games. Casual couch co-op games that allow you and your friends to bond, to immersive stories which touch your heart, or bring you on a wild adventure. I want LitterBox Games to bring unique and wide array of games that inspire other game designers."
A Fun Fact about Burcksen is that she is a second degree blackbelt in taekwondo! Don't worry if you see her in a League of Legends lobby though, she's been playing for 8 years and is still trash.
